I’ve just been approached by someone wanting me to give them training on using their camera and specifically photographing babies/children.

I have to say – running training courses isn’t really something I have put much thought into, but that said, why not?!

What’s the consensus? If I started to offer bespoke or group training would this be something that people would be interested in?

And if yes, what in particular? Using a camera in general? Studio set ups? Using natural light? Or something bespoke and tailored to the individual?

If this is something that people might be keen on, I’ll have a think about it!

Very excited to reveal a sneak peek of the shoot in my Ealing studio yesterday, of the gorgeous Jaxon!

Jaxon turned 1 in April and is such a handsome photogenic little chap! He was a delight to photograph and kept stopping to give me cuddles!

Take note of his outfit… Jaxon’s Mum owns an online store where she sells embroidered clothes and accessories, ‘Little Bubbas Boutique’ – http://www.littlebubbasboutique.co.uk

A lot of the ladies I shoot are interested in getting their make up done to look their best for those immortalised memories, and it’s high time I made a recommendation!

It’s a really good idea to use a professional make up artist for your session. They will make the most of your features, and make up done well can really enhance a photograph.
These photos will be around for a long time after the shoot, maybe even on your walls at home, it’s really worth looking and feeling your finest.

Also, I occasionally take bookings from Husbands that want a special treat for their wife, and a professional make up session before the shoot really is the icing on the cake.

I would like to recommend Claire McDonnell if you are looking for a make up artist; take a look at her portfolio for examples of the work she does. Claire is local (Ealing) and during her career has worked with international celebrities, TV and film stars and even had her work appear in Vogue!

Claire uses the finest products and will work with you to achieve a style that compliments your features but also reflects your personality.

So – if you are looking to have a bit of pampering before your photoshoot, give Claire a call or take a look at her online portfolio!

for designing the logos and putting up with my nagging and asking for little changes!

Highly recommended if you need some design work/hosting.
