Introducing beautiful Baby Ellie!

At only 7 days old she is the youngest newborn to venture into my Ealing studio – very brave Mummy!

Ellie was a little star, so peaceful and content. She didn’t cry once in the whole time she was here.
She had the cutest little button nose and I wanted to keep her ;)

I love newborn photography!

These are all taken in natural light in my Ealing studio using my big selection of custom-made props and accessories.

So yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing little 10 day old Devlin!

Newborn photo shoots can be quite tricky and take ages, but Devlin was amazing and just slept throughout! What a pro.
He was absolutely gorgeous and I wanted to keep him ;)

Mum was able to put her feet up with a cuppa and let me get on with it!
I had a great time and I hope that Devlin’s Mum and Dad love the results as much as I do!

BOOK EARLY for newborn sessions – they ideally need to be done in the first 10 days to get these lovely sleepy curled up shots… and Mum…don’t worry about not looking or feeling your best, all you needs to do is put your feet up and watch!

I love my job and am so glad to be back at work!

I had a fabulous baby photography session yesterday of the beautiful 6 week old Zariah and mum Anthea in my Ealing studio.

Zariah took a little while to settle but when she did she was a total pro and we got some fabulous pictures…I had a difficult time choosing which favourites to upload!

I predict this girl is going to be a heart breaker ;)

I usually use a big heavy zoom lens for my studio photography, but when I was having my clean up yesterday I noticed a neglected portrait lens!

Thought I’d give it a go, just to see if I preferred it… I certainly like how light it is, but I think I prefer the versatility of my zoom! Still, it’s a great lens, I must remember it in the future….

Here’s the result!

Newborns certainly keep their Mum busy…

Darwin is now 4 weeks old and a lovely happy smiley chap!

He’s still not sleeping as much as I would like so studio time is taking a back seat at the moment, but I found half hour yesterday to get the new camera out and give it a test drive!

Feedback welcome…. on that note, I have a new display frame for the studio and need to choose a photo to put in it. Any favourites I should use?
